The story of Loam & Luster began not in a sterile laboratory, but knee-deep in the wetlands of Northern Europe. Our founder, a botanist fascinated by the resilience of nature, was studying the stratigraphy of ancient peat bogs dense, waterlogged terrains known to historians as "nature’s perfect preservative." While excavating a soil sample from a stratum dated over 4,000 years old, they made a startling discovery: a delicate flowering fern, entombed within the dense, black earth. It should have decayed millennia ago. Instead, it was pristine. Its cellular structure was intact; its leaves were still pliable. The bog had not just buried the plant; it had suspended it in time.
